Active Activist
I will continue to utilize my activities in the greater political spheres of the Pacific Northwest to advance and represent the brand of JSA with activist organizations and continue to support the activism department via these unique connections to enhance the state convention activism fairs and keynote speakers.
Connection by Convention
Presence of Office
If elected, I would intermittently join individual
department calls to ensure that all cabinet members feel valued, heard, and motivated to do their best work. This would be in addition to department head conference
calls.
I set a goal every convention of creating an ongoing
connection and relationship with at least one JSAer who I did not know before. I would continue this policy for myself and train elected officials and cabinet leaders to do the same to welcome those new to our organization. I have had great success with this personal goal in particular and helped forge engage JSAers from of it. Being a welcoming and inclusive leader is just as important as any other deliverable, and thus I would expect every elected official and department head to be held to this standard.
